Beacon of Hope Supported Living UK Limited respects your privacy and honours the rights the law gives you over your personal information. Use the options below to request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, correct inaccurate information, or unsubscribe from our communications.
Below, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will send it to the email address you provide, once your identity has been verified.
How we verify your identity
To protect your information, we must be satisfied about your identity before acting on any request. We may ask for a copy of photographic identification and proof of address. Where you are acting on behalf of another person, we will also need evidence of your authority to do so, such as a Lasting Power of Attorney or Court appointed Deputy order.
How long it takes
We will acknowledge your request within three working days and respond within one calendar month of receiving a valid request and any information needed to verify your identity. If your request is particularly complex, we may extend this by up to two further months and will explain why.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your request, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
